Turning on the gas!
Since Loop became smart meter compatible 8 months ago, the question we've been asked most frequently is when will gas usage be shown in the Loop app? Well... we have good news. Our team is working flat out on adding gas and it will be in the app within the next couple of months.

How does Loop think about gas?
We want to help our users reduce their energy spend and carbon footprint. So rather than just show you the graphs of your electricity use, we also show you what your Phantom Load is and how it compares to others, how changing the way you use your big appliances can reduce your bill, and the impact a solar array could have.

With gas, we're going to do the same. What are the free and low-cost changes I could make to cut my usage? How much do they cost, how much would I save and what's the impact on my comfort? And longer-term, how can I get off gas altogether? We won't answer all these questions with the initial gas features, but this is where we're heading.
