Loop is a purpose-led organisation, established to make a difference to climate change by helping UK households to reduce their carbon footprint. Nationally we need to reduce energy use by 15% from 2021 levels by 2030 - Loop users are already making great progress.

On average our users reduce their electricity use by 16% and their gas by 10%. For an average dual-fuel household, that means a carbon saving of around 310kg CO2e. Across all Loop users, this adds up to tens of thousands of tonnes of CO2e saved. 

The more households that use Loop, the bigger the impact. For that reason, we're proud to be working with our parent company, Low Carbon, and their partners, the Emirates Great Britain Sail GP Team (led by the world’s most successful Olympic sailors Sir Ben Ainslie and Hannah Mills OBE) to raise awareness of Loop and its impact.

Low Carbon and Emirates GBR have a long-term partnership to use sport as a platform to inspire others to take action to tackle climate change. We're more than happy to stand on that platform and delighted to be featured as an Emirates GBR 60-Second Climate Champion.
